Please review the following terms and conditions before registering for a Workshop(s):

 

Registration

Payment in full is required to reserve your seat. Because Workshops are limited in size, registrations are available on a first come, first serve basis. Once a Workshop is full, additional registrants will be added to a wait list and invited to attend a Workshop on a later date.

 

Location of Workshops

All workshops are conducted in-person at our treatment center, A New Beginning:

9825 N. 95th Street, Suite 101
Scottsdale, AZ 85258

Please ensure that you can be in Scottsdale, AZ  for the entirety of the two workshop days.

 

Participation

To ensure that you receive all of the information and experiences provided in the workshops, please ensure that you are able to attend BOTH days of each workshop. Each 2-day workshop is held on a Friday and Saturday. On Friday we begin at 8:45am and end at 5:00pm. On Saturday we begin at 8:45am and end at 3:00pm. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early each day so that we can begin on time. To review a list of upcoming Workshop dates, please click here.

You have 1 year from when you attend the first day of your first workshop to complete all paid services. For example, if you register for all 3 workshops and attend your first workshop on January 1, you have until January 1 of the following year to complete all 3 workshops. After 1 year, any unused services will expire and no refund will be given.

Because workshops are psychoeducational in nature, attendance in a workshop does not constitute a formal therapeutic relationship between you and any of the workshop facilitators. However, your participation in individual à la carte therapeutic services with any of our providers (therapists, dietitians, personal trainer) does constitute a formal therapeutic relationship between you and the provider(s); a separate registration packet will be provided to you, which outlines the nature of this professional relationship.

 

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes the best laid plans can go awry. In the event that you have paid for a workshop but are not able to attend, you have several options:

  1. If the Workshop is 30+ days away, you can:
    1. Receive a full refund.
    2. Apply your pre-paid registration towards a seat in a future workshop.*
    3. Transfer your registration to another person who would like to attend the workshop. Please inform us in writing via email if someone else will be attending with your registration.
  2. If the Workshop is less than 30 days away, you can:
    1. Apply your pre-paid registration towards a seat in a future workshop.*
    2. Receive a 50% refund if the workshop is 10-29 days away. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the workshop date. 
    3. Transfer your registration to another person who would like to attend the workshop. Please inform us in writing via email if someone else will be attending with your registration.

Please note, all cancellation/change requests must be received in writing via email.

* Deferred registrations must be used within 12 months of the date of cancellation for the original workshop.
